This saying “ARE YOU HAPPY?” Is often reminiscent of small talk conversations, but has a deeper meaning here.
The will to change is largely self-motivated (intrinsic motivation).
It is often difficult to stimulate someone from outside to a process of change through other people.
My „problem definition“ (ie Mr. X really has a problem) does not have to agree with Mr. X’s.
With the button “change something” change can happen – but OFT there is a benefit in problem behavior, which is why the problem does not WANT to be changed.
You can make someone aware of their problems, but the INSIGHT and WILL to change must come from the person himself.
